buying a sidecar

my son is comming home from GERMANY next august, thought we could take him on some rides. (hes 13) found an 1979 HD FIBERGLASS sidecar in GOOD shape to go on a 99 dyna wide glide, a few modifications and i think it will hook up fine. just wondering,anyone have any info, advice, web sites,etc.?

I don't know much about that sidecar, but I know of a couple of resources that might be useful.

I have a Spyder sidecar on order from Motorvation:

There is some information on their site, like the "Shopping for a Sidecar" article, and some nice pics etc. They are very nice people, btw. Family business for many years.

The Texas Sidecar Co. is also a good operation, and has a nice website:
