Am thinking of repainting my bike. It is an anniversary edition, 1988 85th anniversary. Would like to change color, but I don't want to take away from the special edition. So, should I change color or keep OEM color scheme. I really value your opinion. I have 49000 miles changed to true duals and a CV carb. Not considering selling unless the price is right.[

Unless you are going to keep it as an original/unrestored, changing to what you want should be fine (since ur not selling it). You could get replacement sheetmetal and paint that, storing the originals.
