Fit and finish are fine. The zippers are not all the heavy duty even though they say YKK, they are not the same grade as whats on my Schott or Vanson jackets.
The snaps loosely fasten and the leather is WAY too thin. I'm not sure, but they may be made with "split leather".
I paid 70. clams for mine and to top it off, they're even less expensive. "cheaper" here;
I got these chaps from Leather Up and I really like them. They have 2 deep pockets and a snap out quilted lining for those very cold days. The leather is thick not thin and is lined even without the extra lining.
NM, see if Leather Up will take a trade in on the ones you ordered and get the chaps that I posted above. Truthfully the ones I have are too heavy for Louisiana weather even without the quilted inserts. It has to be damn cold for me to wear them.

What size are they? Mine are a large. I wore em once and did not trim em.
I am 6' 2" 220lbs. I wear a 34" waist and I have a 34" inseam.
Wanta trade em? I'll give you the difference so you're not outta pocket.
Wouldn't work. I'm 6' 200 pounds with a 36 inch waist and 32 inch inch inseam. I'm on the last belt loop with the 36 inch waist and the rear is adjusted as much as possible. I bought double x because I was 240 last winter and had a 40 waist.
