Whats life without a little fun especially at someone else's expense.

I knew you were in "clicks" right off , makes for a more exciting story in the states though.

As far a the " strict orders" I'm not admitting to nothing .

Forget the haters Zeus, for my money, you are a god among men.

I was motoring along my favorite highway at 80 mph yesterday when 3 whipper-snappers dressed in black blew past me at 100+. Scared the beejesus out of me, I didn't even see them coming in my rearview mirror. When I read your post, it was almost like I was there with you.

Somewhere, there's probably 3 guys on another forum laughing at the harley who was pushing with all his might to race, while they were just on their way home.

Wrong gear, tiny engine, or just didn't want to speed I don't know. But I motored through on my RG, stereo cranking heavy metal, it was cool. I just wanted to share that's all.

The comment about the strict order from the wife maybe didn't come through right. They were having a surprise party for her GF, we were due there at 6:30. I hate surprise parties, but I went along with it anyway. As it turns out we were later than the guest so we didn't ruin it for them. That was why the rush. It was important for her, that's all. Not really a strict order.

So now you're waffling on the "strict order from the wife" comment you made? It came thru exactly the way you wrote it.

Sorry. You'd be better off to let this drop and go out run some more mopeds.

I wish I could get back there with the new fat-bob around Nov. 1. That's when my nephew gets back from San Diego. (USMC boot). Thanks for the link. I moved up here about ten years ago and love it here, but I do miss the almost year round riding weather. I get about 5 good months here.
