It's one thing to give friendly ribbing but some of you are real tools. Give the guy a break, it was a funny post.

You should be on my side on this skidder. You know what it's like because you and I do it all the time. Depends on the gear you're in the speed you're going and the momentum you have at the time. If you catch the guy off guard and you're in the power band you leave him in the dust.

This dude just didn't have his act together. I made it clear that I fully expected him to fly past me at any second but he didn't. Maybe he simply didn't bother.

But when he dropped it down one and I was in 4th in the power band I pulled him. I know if he had managed to get his rev's up he would have easily flew past me.

Why can't people understand that? Narrow minded, low intellegence, lack of riding experience, maybe they just can't read. I don't know.

Zeus, just reread your story. You said an exit lane opened up. Do you mean a lane for you to pass trasffic or a lane leading to an exit ramp? If it was the latter, that lead rider might have been signaling that this was their exit.

Depending on where you started, that might be a significant problem.

It was an exit ramp. I got in it early and eased by two of the riders. When the dude jumped up and made the hand jesture that is exatly what I thought, that he wanted to make that exit. That's when I slammed on the binders, just in case he decided to take a hard right he wouldn't hit me. He was basically past the exit when he made the signal, so if it was their exit, they missed it. It wasn't my fault, I didn't mess them up.

Good observation though. Thanks for asking.
