I think AR is done by the same folks that do American Iron, but AR covers all brands of cruisers. Rider is definitely a sport bike mag. Hot Bike, I think, is more of a custom bike mag.
I'm kind of surprised to hear someone say that. I've subscribed for many years, off and on, and I like the magazine. They cover all brands and styles, including a fair amount of HD reviews, comparisons, etc. I would call it more of a "generalized" motorcyclist magazine. Very mainstream, but well done.
I like all three of the mags mentioned. If I had to choose one, I think it would be Hot Bike. Some very nice custom machines featured, with lots of ideas etc.
Rider, American Rider, and Thunder Press are all published by the same company.
And Hot Bike is a Harley mag.
I like American Rider, but their sub price is too high.
