I've put 3000 miles on my 06 FXST/I since I had the V&H, SE A/C, & Race tuner kit installed and dyno'd. The popping on decel is getting worse as time goes by. I called the installer to get his opinion and he suggested that I start running aviation gas in the bike. I don't think that is a practical solution. Do I need to find a different tech/shop and have it retuned?
I agree with you and those suggesting another tech.
It is not normal or acceptable, and especially when you have bought the very device that is supposed to prevent it.
Your tech is a jerk trying to distract you from his incompetency and get you to go away.
Tell him to get help from someone or take his race tuner back and stick it.....somewhere else.
