Default 883 mileage
A friend just bought a 883 and was wondering what the mileage range might be?

About 100 miles per tank on my 1200.

My friend used to have a 883 custom w/ the 4.3 gal tank and said he got between 47-52 mpg. Now my wifes 883 std has the 3.3 gal tank and her bikes gets about the same mpg ,but she has run out of gas 3 times due to no gauge. I guess the miles fly by when your havin fun.,,,

I'm assuming she didn't see the low fuel light?? I just got a 2010 ... and gonna let it run 'till the light comes on ... and see how far she's gone. Can you ask her if she "saw the light" come on? Maybe its not bright enough in the sun ... I was able to see the turning lights and the N light ... and I'm blind as a bat (close up) ...

My last fillup gave me almost 42 mpg I have an 09 1200 sporty. I have been using Shell v power the last few fillups.
