I had new risers... hence new cables... put on my bike at the local HD dealership. The cables look like crap, actually coming forward from beneath the throttle, instead of being angled toward the center line of the bike. That makes the cables flow right across the front of my right under-bar turn signal. I'm having a hard time believing they thought this was okay. Anyway, they're going to "look into" what they can do. Aren't cables available in almost all lengths, or at least in something like 1 inch increments?

Reason: Include a pic of my concern
Looks like the cables are way too long, I believe they should be routed behind the trees and then under the tank. Most cables off the shelf are generally 6" or 8" over stock, but if you look around any length can probably be found. Almost looks like they put on whatever they had on hand.I would think that running the cables thru the trees might kink the cables, besides scuffing the chrome on the headlite bucket. For sure, not the way it should be.
Sounds like a bunch of BS in reference to "We'll look in to it" Hopefully they will make it right. It appears as if the cables are to long. However I have mine routed nearly the same except I replaced my triple tree and the top has a cut out for running cables and wires.
your throttle/idle cables should follow your brake line and go under the tank, " BUT" not through the TT'S . Take it back, and tell em to make it right!
Cant see your clutch but it looks right from the pic.
Bro, which HD in toronto? . Truth be told , it don't look good.
Mackie's in Durham. I've generally been happy with them but this is a mess. They'll be fixing it but I mean, did I really need to tell them that it was a bad job?

Yes, sometimes U have to let them know they flucked up....
At my 1k stg1 install the decell popping was really bad even a boom boom in it, they retuned twice, no help. called Rush tech, in 5 seconds he said air leaks.
Looked at my clamps and they were over 1/2 way off the mufflers and has bent the slots where they tighten down onto the header pipes...Now thats nothing but BAD, I mean BAD workmanship...7 of the 8 slots (4 slots in each pipe) U could see daylight through looking into the muffler from the rear...
Did I have to finally show them what the problem was.. "YES" they would have went on if I hadn't found the problem myself.
Funny thing. Almost all, 99% of the popping went away after they were done correct...
OH YEA, they tuned it again too. All on there dime....
