Just face it, there are a good number of people that just do not like bikes. If they are not complaining about the noise, it is the weaving in and out of traffic, too many bikes in one parking spot, handle bars too high, emissions not adequate, etc. It will always be something, just noise is the easiest one to get the public to rally behind.
