Default Thunderheaders?

Anybody that is running thunderheaders on you TC. What's your impression of them as far as sound and performance?
Thanks.

I don't have them on mine but have heard them on many others and they sound great, deep and loud. Most that have them put them on for performance as well as sound.

I am very pleased with them on my FLHTC. The first choice I should have made to begin with.

I've them on several bikes. They are not for the timid or the "not loud" crowd. They are probably one of if not the loudest factory produced pipes on the market.

I love them wouldn't trade em for another pipe except maybe that new v & H COMPETITION SERIES EXHAUST, the only bad side is the finishing-plating and "ceramic" isn't that great but I repainted mine with DEI silicone high heat and wrapped them and they are ok, they do a fine job performance wise as well

I had em on my softail, and I absolutely LOVED them. They were the best. Great sound, and the performance was better than any other pipes I'd had, or have had since. The only thing I didn't like about them, was keeping the ends clean. What a pain in the butt. But I just got in the habit of wiping them off after each day's ride, and they stayed looking good. Can't say enough about how well they performed though.

I might be changing to them soon. The shop that just did my motor upgrade (SE 95" big bore, feuling oil pump and lifters, S&S cams, MaxTune) said they get the best performance out of them over any other setup they have used. They told me they could see at least 12-15 HP by adding them over my V&H Big Shots. Just to give you a little insight: with a high flow air intake, V&H Big Shots and the V&H FuelPak with the stage 1 download from HD I only gained about 4HP!!! FOUR!!!! So glad I got rid of the FuelPak, now onto getting rid of those Big Shots.....

I like the Thunderheader quite a bit ,didn't go with one but I still like em. Oh and Stinger you would pick up alot of performance with most any of the leading 2-1 exhausts not just the Thunderheader.

I would go with the D&D Fatcat on the EG and Low Cat on the Softy. All black.
