I would like to see the return of the 'FXST Softail Standard', but in a an ever more stripped down, basic and bare bones machine, with a LOW price tag to match, like an MSRP of $9,999.00. This bike would have a smaller displacement Big-Twin (maybe an 88TCB or even an 80" EVO) and only available in Black.
2011 Model Line:
1. FXD Super Glide
2. FXDWG Wide Glide
3. FXST Softail Standard
4. FLSTF Softail FatBoy
5. FLHX Street Glide
6. FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited
All above available in 4 color choices (except FXST, Black only)
1. Electra Glide Standard (with options you could make it a street glide, or Ultra, or Road King.
2. Heritage Classic. Just because it's cool and has the Harley heritage.
3. Superglide. One of them. Not both.
4. Low Rider. (bring it back, NOW!)
5. Sportster. (again, with options, you could make it whichever one you want). Oh, and it needs to be a 1200. No more 883s.
I mean, c'mon. It's an icon. There will always be a Sportster, and that's as it should be.
There ya go. That's all the machines Harley needs to make. Let the owners add all that other crap.
