Not enough information to express an opinion. I like the fact that the biker felt strong enough about something to throw a punch. Too many pacifist on this forum--sometimes someone needs to be thumped. As far as that gun thing in Texas. I just put the pistol on the night stand--been with me all day and most of this evening. Just because I pack a pistol doesn't mean I will not still dot an eye or slant a nose if necessary. Pistol is a last resort--not the first.
following the cager to their house and giving them an earful, drilling it home until they got it is acceptable but punching someone for whatever...nope.
That would have been funny if he followed me home. He would have been forced to stop on the road or been in a whirl of **** if he slid on up in my driveway before he seen my 90+ lb dobe. I woulda been like " yep she did all that before i could get her off him sorry". Than I woulda made sure the LEO emphasized the fact this fool followed me home in a fit of road rage.
I dont have alot of trouble w/ cages. I get more sensitive to them when I have my old lady riding w/ me. Prob 3 or 4 times i've looked in my mirrow and found a cage right up on her *** obviously not happy w/ her speed so he's gonna scare the little lady by putting his bumper a couple feet off her back tire. Funny how they react when i let off my throttle so she can pass me. They always back right off and simply go around.
But I feel for the rider. He's gonna pay for this you can bet on that. Like somebody said his bucket got full. I wouldnt know anything about that.LOL
Also ,, I like the idea of sending this guy 5 bux (everybody) because in a kinda sorta way he just took one for the team.

Yeah...imagine if the guy he punched turned out to be an off duty cop or someone who carried a concealed firearm. The story would have had a tragic ending for the motorcycist. Bottom line is, no matter how deserving, it's never a good idea to take the law in to your own hands. It makes you just as responsible as the other person and often YOU are the one who has to face the consequences. If I had a bullet for everytime someone did something dangerous that could have resulted in an accident, half the drivers on US highways would be gone.
