Yesterday afternoon I installed my 3 way for the freeway from Hogtunes. Installation was easy and it does sound great. What a difference 6 speakers and the amp make. Thanks to all who have posted pics and guides on the install. I only had to check the destructions a couple times during the entire install. The vids posted on Hogtunes web site make it look easy and it was no different when I put them in.
Only problem I had was not being able to take it out for a ride. Too much snow and ice but that problem will take care of itself. Now I just have to wait for the tweeter pod to show up (was back ordered) and I will be set.
I would definately recommend this to anyone who is looking to upgrade their system.
I listened to both HT and J&M at Biketoberfest this year, the 3way system beat J&M hands down. I have J&M speakers right now but want to upgrade to their7 1/4 inch speakers , I will wait til they have an amp to go with it. I tried contacting HT but had no return calls or PM's when I was looking at speakers, John is customer responsive so I will wait until he gets his amp ready then do the whole shebang.
A new must have to compliment your system is the new tweeter pod kit. It's been out for a long time for street glidesand everyone loves them, but now there's also a brand new one for road glides FLTRs! $189 On sale now at ride shack available in February! yes... http://www.rideshack.com/HOGTUNES-TW.../4405-0205.htm

Maybe you caught PEZ having a few days off-- he is normally very responsive-- I've mailed him at 9pm (his time) and got a response back in 15 minutes, and other times overnight when I came in to work the next morning.
Always found his customer service to be excellent.
