Hey, just wondering, any old school stock Panhead riders out there?? Love my ol' girl, looking forward to the day the snow is off the road and I can wake her up, just to hear her when she starts up, {I'm not going to do the bet this spring with my friends as to how many kicks} been there before. She likes to make me look like a doofus, Bitch. But I do Love her, gets me wherever she decides to take me. Just wonderin' cole

I don't go back that far but the bike shop I go to does. There is a fairly stock looking flh there right now being worked on. I think they told me it was a '58. Neat looking bike, pretty much "no frills".

Man,you brought back some good memories of my 53 I had for years. It survived admirably through out my teenage and early twenties years, racing, burning the tires off, just plain raising cain.It was very well maintained and never gave me any trouble.I do miss the clattering!

I really miss my '50 pan, had it 15 years. As you well know, the number of kicks is directly proportionate to the number of people watching. I think it's about time to get another one.

My first Harley was a 49 Pan and I loved the bike. I paid 50 bucks for her, cleaned the plugs and rode her home.Unfortunatly a hurricane called Camille came through the Miss. Gulf while I was in VietNam and took her away.I guess she's in the bottom of the gulf now.

Still riding the same 65 pan I bought in 1970. Almost stock except for paint and tires. Working on completing my 49 EL. Should be done by spring. The only thing not stock on the 49 will be tires (firestone replicas) and paint, although I figure I will probably fix that within the first couple of riding seasons. Then I will take down the 65 for a complete ground up restoration
