The thing is that Travis Pastrana is an extremely skilled racer also. He did not have the same skill set that Jeremy Mc Grath or Ricky Carmichael or other guys like that but he was definitely a top 5 runner at MX. He would crash very hard and he has had many many concussions leading to the America Motorcycle Association pulling his Pro license. As a Red Bull athlete he gets to do many different competitions in cars and on bikes. If you want to see a test of skill ,speed and endurance, maybe the toughest there is on a bike, check out the enduro at erzberg.
Evel was a self promoter he was good at it he was also so good at crashing being in the spot lite that made him famous he paid the price over an over for what he had that made him a legend
Robbie ain't got the ***** Evel had I don't think time will tell

Getting a little off topic here but IMO if Travis had dedicated himself strickly to MX/SX, he may have beaten both MC and RC. But he was having too much fun at FMX and that is what he preferred.
Erzberg....the most brutal offroad race on the planet. You guys thats never ridden off road may not be able to fully appreciate this.
