I just finished reading "Under and Alone" by William Queen. It's the story of his going undercover for 2 years with the Mongol Nation, a violent Southern California motorcycle club. Think of it as a cross between "Donnie Brasco" and "The Sopranos". You get to see firsthand the day-to-day "existence" (I wouldn't go as far as to call it a "life") of these gang members. One thing I found interesting was how little mechanical attention they pay to their bikes and how incredibly violent these folks are. (The Mongols are considered by the feds to be the most violent of all the biker gangs.)
I found it to be a very good read and finished the book in just a couple of nights. I have a whole new appreciation for undercover ATF agents now.
Good information. However, it should be a life lesson as well. As with any aspect of life. Don't start sh*t and life is good. Be respectful of others and life is good. Be kind and courteous and life is good. Be an a$$ and life sucks and you deserve what life gives you.....
