Showed the wife a ad for an 883 sporty, she ordered me to go buy one thinking it would be cheaper than my gun habit. hehe, well 4 Harleys 2 atv's and a KLR in 4 years proves that theory wrong.

Watched the 1969 tv show "Then Came Bronson" when I was in college and vowed I would get a Harley. Graduated in 1972 and ordered a brand new Sportster. The opening scenes of the show with him riding the Pacific Coast Highway and crossing the Bixby bridge did it for me. I vowed I would do that one day, and now live just a little over an hour north of Big Sur and do that ride whenever I want.

Agree about the 6 HD riders but not about Jap bikes.All the years I have ridden HD's have to say there are plenty of boneheads,riding every brand,it is what it is.From the first HD Twin I ever layed eyes on it has been an obsession.
