Awesome Ride Today

Went on an awesome ride today. The weather was perfect, so what the heck. My buddy and I went on a little loop, and part of it could be called a mini dragon. The funny thing about it at the end of it, the pavement ended. We would up going down a dirt and gravel road for about 2 miles to hit pavement again. By the time I got home, I had ridden 228 miles on 4.9 gallons of gas. For an average of 46mpg. I am impressed with the bike only having 3000 mikes on it. The more I ride the more I smile at my choice of bike.

I took my 06 Electra Glide Standard, and my buddy took his 05 Heritage Softail Classic.

Odn't you just hate when roads end like that??? We have a bunch in the desert...you'll be tooling along and all of a sudden it's dirt or nothing....like someone forgot to finsh thier thought.

Sounds like you had a great ride....

Thanks Blue Rose. Funny thing about it we passed a sign that said pavement ends in 11 miles. I have lived here in Tennessee all my life and that was the first time I have encountered that.
