Why are there so many bikes with V&H big radius pipes on them? Are they that sweet performing? I myself do not care for the look. Anyone help me out?

Each to his/her own. just a popular pipe at the moment, but it's all subjective.

Cause its the best pipe out there! Seriously though, awesome looking pipe, great sound, decent price, and good performing 2 into 2 pipe. You may not like the look, and that's cool, but you are definitely in the minority on that one.

Personal preference...I know a bunch of guys running them just because they like 'em...as an old timer used to tell me years ago...

"It ain't rocket science, son...it's a Harley..."

They are popular enough to make the Sportster line this year.

Seems a few fellas (ladies) report a loss in torque... like not being able to run in 6th gear. Seems odd, I run stock pipes and I have a very usable 6th gear around 55/60 and up - as stated in the manual... someone in the forums said he was boggin at 70mph. Unbelievable. What do you guys and gals think?

What is a 6th gear, and why would someone want one?
As for the big radius: less backpressure, less performance. It's that simple.
