So I finally scored a billings jacket (distressed brown leather) that I have wanted for a LONG time. My question is anyone that owns one is what do you use on the leather? My wife has one also and mine seems to be a rougher (almost said stiffer) leather.
Contact the manufacturer and see what they recommend. If you try mink oil, or any other product, test it on a inconspicuous area first. It may turn the brown leather very, very dark. Not to mention take away the distressed look.
Billings Jackets look great just the way they came from the factory and IMO, it seems like the type of leather that might not get any better looking with conditioners. I guess if it was my jacket I'd talk with a leather shop before putting anything on one of those babies. I wish I had the $$ to buy one when they came out....getting hard to find these days. If you 'outgrow it give me a call.
Hey, just found this thread. Question to the OP. Does the billings jacket fit like a slouchy jacket that kind of hangs there? Or, does it hang with some structure like a typical motorcycle jacket. I think those front pockets are throwing me off a little.

I second the request for a pic on you!
Much appreciated!
Its been awhile since I had one on but I recall they do have structure and a great fit. I usually wear an XL but had to pull an XXL off the hanger to fit right.
