You sir, are deserving of an award. You have created the troll quadrifecta, four levels of suck in one post. Outstanding!

If you can't find riding gear that doesn't make you look like a jackass, I highly suspect it's not the gear. Wearing a helmet, glove, leather jacket, jeans & boots while riding a motorcycle generally makes you look like someone who is riding a motorcycle.
So I just bought a 2009 Night sporty off craigslist. To be honest I come from a slightly different back round of motos, hence this is all new to me.
First, THIS THING IS A DOG. 1200 some cc's and my kids dirt bike has more power. Is this normal? What is the average HP? What is the correct way to lean these bikes? Every time I turn I'm dragging hard parts.
I am also having a hard time finding gear that doesn't make me look like a jackass AND that I feel safe in. I've had my fair share of get offs and none of them were caused by me. Without the gear I would have been toast.
Any input would be helpful.
All Harleys after 06 are EPA Dogs, EPA Cams overlapping, Leaned out AFR!
Check your basic mechanical, plugs and such then start with the common mods, slipons & Stage I AC, with MAP/Tune. You will probably end up going with a cam with more duration, baggers are happy with the 255 but since you are trying to compare the Sporty to a dirt bike a 251 or 30 degree duration may be the best match.
Don't take my word for this, check with the guys who run Sporty's and see which Cam wakes them up with the least drivability problems!
