if your bike is not worth what you owe, you will want to pay off the rest of the loan and then you will need additional money down for the new bike. If that is no big deal, trade the bike and get one you prefer.

You are right about not being forced...but that is where the addiction to the disease comes into play...I was told by a HD sale mgr that MoCo has stats showing the average buyer will spend $1500. to $3000. on accessories for the bike and themselves in the first 24mo of ownership...More people take in the a$$ on the Sporty than any other model...that is why there are soooo many used ones for sale!

i'm not gonna say buying my Nightster was a mistake, one thing that came into play was that this was my "starter" bike, i had 2 hours worth of exp on a 125cc piece of crap, i knew from the start i wanted a Harley, and i am 5'11 and weigh 145lbs, yeah, small fry i would say huh? So when i first saw the ST and FB i thought to myself, damn these things are freaking bigger in person, and when i got to the Nightster i was just my size. I love the bike, don't get me wrong. I don't have a problem in waiting more on my Nightster, and need of some bigger or not, bleh, don't really care bout that. I feel comfortable on my bike: power, speed, looks, comfort, etc. Who knows, maybe i'll end up with both my Nightster and the SB or FB later on.

Between the folks that spend all that cash, on goodies...... and the folks that buy new bikes every 2 years.... the MOCO is set for a while..... balances out the jack-legs like me, who buy a bike, then wear it out

Look in the mirror and repeat until you understand. Debt is bad, Debt is evil. Never trade Debt for more Debt.

Be happy with what you have double up in payments and be done with it. If you are upside down which you probalbly are. This will be one of the dumbess things you can do is roll in the debt to a new loan. Wake up all of America has been doing this and many people are broke.

Debt is bad.

Any suggestions will help. Thanks!
Save yourself about 10 years and cut to the chase and get a Bagger.
