It's a cool bike to look at, that's for sure. I don't know if I'd want it as a rider. It makes me wonder though, at what point in customizing does a cycle stop being a rider and start being just for looking at? $50,000 investvested and asking $20K!

hmm let's see . over $50k invested , selling for $20k . that's $30k lost in 5 years to ride a bit over 6000 miles . i hope the guy had a lot of fun buying and installing parts because it sure was a lousy investment (not that i think of motorcycles as an investment , but if you're going to pour that kind of money into something , at least USE it!)
The guy clearly had a vision. Although the paint color standing alone does not do it for me, it blends well with the chrome and the stretching of a Road King's features such as the headlight, tank, and bags. It works for me.
If the guy wanted a color that stood out from the pack, I think electric blue would have done the job better. The yellow, however, works too.
