Good reminder..!
When I was a kid, we put homemade skid paint on Gramma's porch. (Upstate NY)
Heavy duty porch paint and a bucket of sand.
Worked like a champ.
I used roof shingle because I had some left from the roof when I built the building. Roll roofing would have been better but my "If it's free, it's for me" mindset said just use what you got. I did put some 40 lb roof felt under the shingles to help protect the Advantix on the ramp.
There is too much going on in my garage so I too am building a shed for parking the scoot. I'm going to build it along side the garage 5X10 with a slab floor, but I'm putting a door in each end. Ride In Ride Out, you wouldn't believe how much easier it is. You can also have an inside door between the two. It's a set up I had at the old place for both bikes and snowmobiles,
cheers

I'm with you Bub...Free is my favorite color !
Big Rol,
Put some plastic down under your slab for a vapor barrier.
It'll make a big difference in the long run for fighting condensation and surface rust.
I'm sure you're good, but I did not see the length between unsupported sections of the joist. Check the charts: http://www.awc.org/Publications/upda...01FullPage.pdf
Since your joists are pressure they are probably southern yellow pine. Plywood is to be considered "dead load". 40 lbs/sq. ft. is your goal for perfection & I'd park mine on 30psf
If I was at the office I'd have more resources.
Good question;good luck.
