The dealership I work at is open Mon. thru Sat. from 9 to 6...That includes the service dept.also...Just curious how many people on this forum like to work on sat. or sun. ?
I am sure there are people on this forum that would love to have a JOB and be working on Sat. or Sun. When you take a job in retail (service or sales), you work when the customers want to buy.

Not fun at all, but you do what ya' hafta' do to pay the bills...I used to be in the car business, we where open 9-9 Mon thru Sat. In sales ( I was a fin mngr for 12 yrs.), it wasn't unusual to get outta' there till 10PM, sometimes 11PM. Avg'd 60-65 hrs a week comission only...
Workin' 9 to 6 and goin' home? That would have been easy. lol

The service dept was open 7:30 AM - 6PM M-F and Sat (I think) 9-3. They had less hrs than the sales dept.
BTW, the HD dealer's service dept closest to me is open M-F 10-7(used to be 9-7) and Sat 10-6. When business is slow, they let some of the techs leave early.
