I have a 2009 Red Hot Denim Street Glide.
I was wondering if anyone out there has had the same problem with the paint peeling on the Denim Colors? Back end of front fender. It started on the outside of fender and now into the inside. When I say it's peeling...I mean it's peeling in big pieces.
Ok, No I have not dropped the bike...nor have I hit anything!
I do have 18,550 mile on her. I have also notice that swing arm is peeling also...but that is just black stock frame paint. Just Wondering is it me or the paint? Thanks!
No problem at all with my 07 pewter denim Street Bob's paint. I would bitch at the dealer till they fix it. Paint shouldn't just peel off like you are saying.
Just curious ...Have you spilled any brake fluid on it?...With the handlebar turned fluid would hit the front fender where you describe...Is the paint peeling on the swing arm where the rear brake caliper is ?...Have you installed braided brake lines?

Excellent observation and very possible. +1
No problems with my 07. So far, it's been more durable and less work to upkeep than any other bike I've ever had, short of my dirt bike, which is rattle canned.

I would say this is a great possibility. Do you have the dealer do your service work. Brake fluid ruins paint. When you said your swing arm too i thought it sounded fishy.
