Question

new guy...

so i sold my 09 r6 and i got what i was told is a 81 sportster from a gal at my work. her husband left her and the bike has been in the garage they owned it together and she had to do the hole dmv title b/s. its mine i own it but no nothing about it. is there a place i can just have the v.i.n ran to tell me what it is like with cars and stuff. bikes in great shape and i have a bunch of stuff lined up for it.
