Which '07 will be so popular...
...that you get sick of seeing it over and over and over again?
Here's the rules for making a prediction:
1. This is NOT a slam on a particular bike - just a statement that you will see too many copies of it
2. Your $.02 worth is doubled with a color choice (for the math-challenged: that makes your opinion worth a nickle)
5. Multiple choice is OK, but only one each per HD family - Sporty, Dyna, V-Rod, Softail, Touring
D. Don't remind me that silly rules are never followed in the HD Forums
My early prediction: Softail Custom in Vivid Black
Reasons:
A. It's really the only brand new model for this year other than the V-Rods
2. It looks good
4. Dealers will order 'em by the boat-load
D. Of course, black
BTW, I won't see the '07s in person until tomorrow - so I haven't had a chance to track the drool in the Dealer's showroom - may add/change my predictions later

The wide glide has fatter forks and more rake. It also only gets the 160 rear tire. My ideal Harley would be a Custom with a wideglide front end.

I went to my local dealer the other day and they had a very limited bike supply. However they did have 3 Softail Customs sitting on the floor. Only one other Softail in stock. I will say the Custom's look a lot better in person than they do on the Harley website.
I don't see them being the most popular bike of the year. How do we know what the most popular bike is? What is the most popular 2006?
