Has anyone tried drilling out the stock 2007 pipes? Just a thought since there is no aftermarket pipes yet. Pick up my 2007 street glide Friday. Dealer said screaming eage 2007 pipes are no louder than stock and not to bother buying them!

I don't know about on a dresser, but your dealer is wrong if he's talking about all the '07 SE pipes. I put the '07 SE's on my '07 Heritage last weekend and it is much louder than the stock pipes. Almost as loud as the SE II's on my '03 Dyna. I wonder if he has really heard them.
Definitely deeper.....and you can hear the "innards" of the engine. Naturally it is still very tight.......this one had a Stage 1 kit and download. Not sure they needed to install the download with those stock mufflers.
I was told there is no download for the '07 yet. I hope they're wrong as I want to get an SE air cleaner on ASAP.
Sound better but have issues with rust. My bike was bought Aug1 and already the insides of the rear of the muffler are rusted badly as well as the pipe sticking out.
I live in Chicago and the bike has always been garaged. I have also see postings on this problem on other sites.
FWIW it not looking inside of the baffles it is the actuall area around it.
My 07' Heritage does sound different than last years. From the rider's seat they seem very quiet but my son says they are louder than my SE II Pros were from behind. He says they have directed the sound to the rear and he can hear them over his SE IIs. Who knows?

I have a 07 FLHRSE and it is WAYYYYY to quiet for me.
I'd like to get something louder while I wait for the full duals become available.
Thanks. (If you could give me a part number that would be great)
Yes, so far anly the SE slip ons, but the ones for the Heriotage are different from the touring models so my part number won't help. I'll find my part number and post it if you like.
