I gotta pair of Big Ben Goggles with yellow lenses. Glasses fit well inside of them.

If you just need glasses for reading as I do now that I'm getting older, try some bifocal safety glasses. they come in different corrections and are cheap (less than $10) now I can see my gauges and can read the menu at the bar. And if I lose them it's not a big deal.

I know you didn't ask me but here's my .02 cents....I was 43, and my vision was 20/400.
I could not drive without glasses. It was awesome waking up the first day after surgery and seeing across the room. They spent 15 seconds on one eye and 20 on the other.

+1 on Lasik. I recommend it to anyone who'll listen. I did mine 7 years ago and my vision is still awesome.

Consider a very good pair of prescription glasses made for riding. Top notch website for quality glasses and goggles is sportrx.com. can get the frames to see how they fit then buy what does. excellent quality and customer service. I have been buying from them for many year and the lenses last for ever.

I have 2 pair of Wiley-X with perscription lenses - one dark and the other yellow. I've had them for 2 seasons now and they have worked very well. Ride with a half helmet so they take the brunt of bugs and other crap hitting me in the face - virtually no scratches. Would be reluctant to ride with any glasses that didn't have high impact rated lenses.

I have found that in the rain, it is best to remove the foam gasket so it doesn't fog up.

I have the Wiley X prescription with name brand Transition lenses – pony up for these! A few words of advice – the Wiley X frames with the holes for straps have broken on me twice at the hole. They were cool about replacing them, but what about when they no longer make that frame? Avoid the frames with holes. Second, I wouldn’t bother with Wiley X’s transition lenses if they can even do them in prescription – I ordered some without prescription and they lasted about a week. My name brand Transition lenses still kicking after a year and a half.

I went through a local optical shop that took my insurance and carried Wiley X. It wasn’t easy to pull off. You might be just as well off to buy your own frames from Wiley X (even with the smoke lenses it won’t cost much more than they charged me for just frames)….and have an optical shop cut the lenses for you.

Some of the lenses can have too much of a bend in them to be cut right if your prescription requires too much of something or another – I don’t remember. You might check with the place that is cutting the lenses to see first if they can cut them to fit your frames.
