GO DIRECTLY TO THE TRIP FORUM.................................stop adding parts....and RIDE the F*$KING BIKE.
I think most people realize your bike looks the best when it has a few bugs on it and you're pulled over on a mountain viewpoint somewhere that you're not from.
The parts i add now are about comfort and riding ease.....no about bling.
When i'm away on a month long trip, the last thing i care about is how much chrome is on the bike...
...and believe me when people see that your plate is from 8 States or 4 Provinces away.....
....they don't see the chrome either....they see freedom and a someone who rides.

Yet another reason why I bought a 100% original shovelhead (it'll stay OEM) instead of building a bobber from the ground up. Once you start modifying you'll never stop.
On the bright side, about the time you get finished adding all the goodies, is the time your taste in bikes changes. Then you can sell it to the next proud owner for a fraction of the cost, and start all over!
You fib or you bought used if that's your bike in the picture. I see the highway bars, highway pegs, and attitude sticker on the windshield. That is just from a quick glance.

Blame the internet, if you have to blame someone. When Al invented the internet, things were just so much easier to get your hands on. I remember a time before the internet, where you .....
A: Left a bike stock.
B: Fabricated your own accessories based off an idea you had.
C: Bought an occasional item that you just happened to run across by chance.
Since Al and the internet came along, we not only have huge amounts of sources for ideas, but you can now see pictures of what it will look like before dropping the cash on it.
Wait til' you start farting around with the idea of making a fancy Garage... man it possess your soul. I just can't figure out why my wife hasn't complained. It's almost like she enjoys me being out of the house... Hmm?
