Why would someone do this to their bike? They obviously have a garage.
Maybe his disgruntled wife moved the bike out of the garage and put it in the street. Anyone else care to guess why this bike is buried in snow?

most people are certifiably retarded and think that a garage is to store years worth of garbage that they will "use some day" and pack the place floor to ceiling with random junk that is worth next to nothing, meanwhile their $30k cars and bikes sit out in the weather getting **** on.

Maybe she put it out with the trash when the trash came home with it. To me it (the photo) looks "doctored". Trust me I've pushed some snow in the last few months and there appears to be snow missing where there should be some. Just sayin'.
