I searched the site but no luck.
I'm looking for a cheap source to solve the problem of securing my bike's seat to the bike for places like Laughlin etc.
(Chuck at C&C can tell you stories of peeps coming to him at Laughlin or Las Vegas Bike Week needing, not wanting, to buy a new seat because their's got ripped off in a parking lot.)
Any of my smarter/more informed brethren have any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Primo

Did I read right? Once secured the nut breaks off so it cannot be removed? I must be missing something......what about when you need to remove for maint?

Never heard of a seat being ripped off. Are you sure the seat company's giving you the real scoop? I think I'd be more worried about your air filter.

You guys didn't read the description well, and you didn't scroll down to see the rest...
They made for attaching signs, door hinges, etc. The breakaway nut is for permanent installations, the rest can be removed with special sockets.
I kind of like the second, and fourth ones myself. Tapered, and no edge you can grip with pliers.
Maybe you could get a couple friends to go in on a 25 ct.?
