we built a fin on the front of dads open trailer to protect the bikes from road debrie as the only time we would use this trailer is like now when snowing and heading to fla or out of state when weather is nice or if it would have been then they would have road down.

Not the best pics but gives you the idea you could fit two ultras on a 6x12 open just like this and dad used to have a 7 x 14 enclosed haulmark sold it to member on here as were lucky if we use the trailers once a year. so we moded this one to protect the front of the bikes.

plenty of room on this trailer and we added tie downs to the floor in several places and have three of the Bike pro quick plates on the floor so that you can put two bikes in like this or move one of the quick remove bike wheel chokes to the center for one bike should work out good.

Make sure you check the axle rating if you buy a single axle trailer - some have 2000lb axles. Two dressers + the trailer itself will exceed 2000lbs.

If you are doing an open (flatbed) trailer, 6x10' is enough. If you are going to an enclosed (cargo) trailer, you really need 7x12 or larger, which will probably have tandem axles - which is the best way to go.

I have a 4 X 8 for my Ultra. I never haul 2 bikes and it has plenty of room. As long as it fits the trailer front tire to rea tire I'm fine. I do like the sheild they show on their trailer.

7'x12' minimum, IMO. I had a 6' x 10' and it wouldn't do...

Here is what I use to go to Florida for a couple weeks during Christmas. 6x12 V-nose.
