I thought about this yesterday while it rained all day.
We live in So Cal and have ridiculous housing prices, taxes are among the highest in the country, our politicians are corrupt and spend money like crazy, traffic totally sucks (you can sped 3 hours on the freeway and only go 60 miles), we have gangs, over crowded prisons (so they are letting thousands out), and people here are completely effed up.
The reason we put up with all that is because the weather is usually great. So when it's not we feel like we're getting ripped off!
Today was beautiful. Nice and dry at 8am when I left the house. No complaints here. It would be nice if rain could be confined to weekdays, but in the grand scheme of things we have it good.

I could not have put it any better. That is exactly how I feel. The weather is the only reason I don't move away from here. You cannot beat it 99% of the time.
