Battery Help

Have a '06 Fatboy CVO and took the battery out for the winter. Went to put it back in to find out I cannot find the bolts to hold the battery in. I called the local dealership to get the correct size and was told it was a 1/4" 28 thread and about 1/2" long. Went to the store, bought two bolts and they are too big. I've tried a couple others and cannot seem to find the correct bolt. Does anyone know what I need? Thanks

Would they be metric?

Brought it into a local hardware store too and tried searching metric. Couldn't find a thing. Maybe we missed it.

Sorry I don't have a fatboy, so I may be confused about the bolts "holding in" the battery. BUt if your speaking about those which are on clamps.....I'd try a #10 metric
