Sure was a great day yesterday!
Slapped a permit on and took off for a good seven hour cruise. Maple Ridge over the Golden Ears bridge, wandered though Surrey, Delta, headed down Hwy 10 to Cloverdale, rigt at the bypass, left at the border (16th Ave) ended up on 0 Ave all the way to Yarrow, Sardis, Chilliwack, (the back road by the river is great) popped out at the bridge and over to Aggisi, stopped in Harrison, had a disappointing Baron of Beef...not recommended, warmed my azz up a bit and headed down Hwy 7 (Lougheed) and back to Maple Ridge. I was about to turn into my street, but wouldn't you know it... I kept going. Wasn't ready to call it quits so I just bombed around town until it got too dark to see through my goggles.
Ya, I know, just wanted to announce to the world riding season is here.
Man, its hard for me to figure how warm it is with the farenhiet system, who ever came up with that?
Daniel Fahrenheit in 1724...
Now, tell me who came up with that metric mess of Celsius in the 1960's ??

You guys are killin' me!! I am still having to check the 10-day forecast every morning to figure out when I can ride next. I've gotten kinda lucky as of late but not looking good over the next 10 days. It seems like all the good days are during the week when I'm at work!

With the Fahrenheit system it is really quite simple.
If the thermometer says 70 degrees it is quite literally 70 degrees.
Now with the Celsius system you actually have to get out a calculator to figure out the real temp.
for instance if the celsiusometer says 21.11111111, it is really 70 degrees.
Went out yesterday here in Camrose Alberta, still have snow on the lawns and fields, was only plus 5c, what the heck eh! Can't wait till warmer weather.
