The guy is not a rider. For all my 'merican bros, 900 km = 560 miles. Looks like he keeps it in his living room. He must have gotten sucked into the "investment" argument concerning 2003 models. That was the most expensive year for a Canadian to buy a Harley as our dollar was about $0.65 U.S. (It's about $0.97 today.)
I have the bill of sale from the original owner of the '03 RK I bought last summer which had 4200 km on it (2600 miles). He paid $38K for it. I got it for $16K. Sad for him, good for me.
Guys....probably his OL is making him sell it and he keeps trying but there are "NO BUYERS HONEY" so I guess I'm stuck with this damn thing for another long annoying Summer......
The bike only has 900 and some odd Kilometers on it. He didn't buy it to ride, thought he had a collector's edition.
2k3p, if yers wasn't orange then judging by his impression of worth, you could get at least 28,000 for yours!

guess a lot of folks think they can add the cost of all their custom parts to the original sticker to arrive at a sales price -- not a chance...those folks can keep their bikes.
There is one statistic that everyone should be aware of. The final selling price of any used item has more to do with the original asking price than ANY other factor.
