Default Exhaust advice needed

I have a 2010 HD Street Glide and did the 103 kit and Nightstick slip-on. I am now looking at the vance and hines pro pipe and get rid of the CAT.....i'm told this will give me more HP and TQ and run cooler. I was also told to invest in the ThunderMax to avoid needing to re-dyno everytime I make a major change? What do you guys think?

Thanks!

I just bought a 2010 SG. I'm going with the jackpot header and muffler, PC5 and the S1 air cleaner kit. The guys at Fuel Moto are awesome to deal with. Good price point on the exhaust, and I have bought from Fuel Moto before. Great folks to do business with.

You need TTS and a fatcat. The best combo around.

If U planning to change things all the time, then yes it'll pay to get a self tuner.

For me, did the usual A/C, pipes and cams. Thats all the work I plan to do and paid for dyno one time (3hr,$180 in 07) so the SERT has done a great job and I am happy with it.

Not surprised.....Original SERT from the MoCo is/was manufactured by TTS......the newer model "Super Tuner" made by a coompany that has no previous "experience" at it....not as "versatile" as TTS.....

Assuming the 103 kit included a high flow filter your bike has probably already been tuned to what you have. If all you are doing is the exhaust at this point I don't think it will change that much. If your going with a V & H exhaust they make a tuner that I believe is fairly simple.
