Yes it's possible. The warranty they tried to sell me when I bought my Heritage they called it a 5 year extended warranty but it really was only 3 additional years. 1st two years from the factory and 3 from more with the extended warranty. Congratulations on your bike, they should have fixed that the 1st time. I hope they fix it properly and you enjoy your new ride.

Welcome home and Thanks so much for your service!

Bummer about the leak - esp since it's a new bike. Unfortunately, new stuff sometimes has little "bugs" that need working out. Definitely a PITA, but I'm guessing it's something minor and the Dealer will figure it out. Don't think you should worry about major problems down the road based on this. Main thing is how the Dealer handles it and whether or not you have faith in their service Dept.

BTW...same thing happened to me on the RKC...in the beginning, I had a few "little" issues here and there...including a small oil leak. Took them a couple of attempts to find the source, but they did and it was minor. They ended up cleaning up the oil from the underside of the bike real well and letting the bike sit overnight so they could trace it easier...fluids often travel away from the source. As frustrated I was with the initial issues, the Dealer took care of everything and I've had no issues since. I hope you have the same experience.

Welcome home and thanks for your service. A new bike shouldn't be leaking anything. Be patient and let them fix it right. Ride Safe!

Thanks all. I will continue to take it in, just hoping they will be able to fix it right this time. Just isn't fun knowing that my dream bike is not being used right now. Appreciate all the advice and the thanks.
