Touring mufflers
Would anyone have any feed back about Harley part number FLT1688? They are stock touring mufflers off a 2005 CVO. I want to know if I used them on a 2009 FLHTC would they give me some better sound and would they match up good with a set of true dual header pipes I want to buy. Or would it be better to just get some high flow mufflers for those header pipes?

I do not believe mufflers from an 05 touring are going to fit a 09 touring. You also will not get the kind of sound I think your looking for out of any stock muffler HD makes whether it be CVO or otherwise. Check out Fuel Moto for a pair of new slip ons. There inexpensive and guaranteed to fit. They are a site sponsor and easy to find a link on here to them.
