hmm, kinda funny, some feel the need to tell you (OP),how much they hate harleys, and are feel compelled to put then down, yet, how many harley riders go out of their way to tell the rice rider how much his bike sucks? Not many so I think that kinda says it all.you,on a harley, have nothing to prove, but apparently the "harley haters" DO have something to prove, hmm?
can't say i have ever had anyone say to my face that they hate my Harley or me for riding one. However, I used to hate anyone that rode anything but a Harley until I reazlied that most people cant afford one or simply like something else. Anyone who has the stones to ride a bike is cool with me regardless of what they are riding.
There's a long tradition of Harley hating going back yesterday's hell rasiers and staying with us to today's garage queen status symbols. I can't think of any other brand name in which so many people in that product's user group (motorcycle riders) have such strong feelings, love or hate, than Harley.
I've heard rumors about this, but I really didn't get the full spectrum until I owned one. I can't believe that there are some people who absolutely hate Harley's. I just can't understand that. When I go for a ride, I acknowledge everyone on two wheels regardless if its a crotch rocket or a metric cruiser. I ride with several guys that ride crotch rockets
l
I understand what your saying, when I had my rocket I acknowladged everyone on 2 wheels (and still do) and I couldn't believe how many Harley guys wouldn't even wave, head nod, etc. back. But now that I ride a Harley I find that the rocket guys tend to not acknowledge you, at least until you wave first. But I still meet the occational Harley guy that is just too cool for everyone else. I could care less what you ride as long as you ride. Hell for what it's worth some days I still miss my rocket.
