Actually I think its the most sincere form of flattery, people that don't own harleys wearing shirts and such pretending they do. Keeps MoCo going, wannnabes, what would we do without them?

Less here in a rural area. Just denim ad tee shirts. When it's summer that is. I don't buy any except one rain suit three years ago. The only tee shirts that have HD on them are the ones that I get free with the bike purchase. My leather jacket is from 1967 and doesn't fit any more. It must have shrunk.

I don't see anything wrong with it at all, just not for me. Corvette folks have some gaudy Jackets that would burn your eyes out.

I am looking for some armored pants for riding but not from HD. I will check the internet.

I'm on a crew with 11 other drivers. 4 of them wear Harley branded shirts and hats most of the time and only myself and one other driver own Harleys and both of us seldom wear the Harley stuff.

Around here you see them mainly at the Harley dealership (both in the boutique section...which is larger than the bike or gear section in most H-D shops), and at the annual motorcycle show. (held in January each year...where people show up dressed in leather from head to toe, with doo-rags, and the whole nine yards...which kills me, since it is normally around -30 at that time of year in this neck of the woods...I guarantee you they didn't ride to the show...lol) I bought a few tees in my initial rush of joy after buying my Fat Boy (back in '07) but haven't bought one in ages. I've got a couple of long sleeve ones, and three or four ss tees. That's more than enough free advertising for the MOCO on my behalf.

yeah, now that you mention it, I think you are right. Even so, let the name and brand stay strong. Don't need 'em going , and no, I don't work for the MOCO, just a guy enjoying the ride.

Shoot - do you think every bloke who wears a t-shirt that says Hugo Boss or Perry Ellis has a suit? Don't think so. Ha!

That's true. They are one of the most recognized brands in the world, competitive with Marlboro, Coca Cola, and Nabisco. Slap a Harley bar and shield on anything and somebody will buy it.

I guess you could say I "collect" HD t-shirts, I get one from every town I go to that has a dealership. I've got about 15 or so. It's rare to see me in a shirt that doesn't say Harley on it. They are good quality shirts and most of the ones that I own were actually made in America or at least that's what the tag says.
