I've seen a fair number of big, grotty, irritable, serious old-school looking bikers...who'd take a very dim view of you disrespecting their motorcycle riding chihuahua.
And for the younger dudes....the pitbull won't work (it says 'insecurity issues') but the cute little pooch says you've got a 'sensitive' side...and works as a damn fine chick magnet. That way you don't even to have to pretend to have a 'sensitive side'.

Used to have a pit/chow mix. When he was two or three a buddy of mine pitched a tent out back for a few nights. He rode this gawdawful Yamaha dresser. Next morning he's knockin' on my door asking what to do...Thor was sittin' on the back of his bike. I said to fire it up & see what he'd do. For the rest of the summer the two of 'em rode to the Waffle House together every morning! (Thor stopped speaking to me when I bought a Sporty..)
