Very nice "old school" feel to the entire effort. According to the title, it was filmed in 2009. The info at the YouTube page said they video'd their ride from Iowa up to Milwaukee.

So... maybe it's not vintage footage... but it surely must be from a small group of riders that respect old school chops and bobbers. Some of the riders even had that genuine vintage look going!

A fun watch.

Reminded me of my ol man, he never had a harley, but way way back when he raked out his honda, put on a tall sissy and mid hight ape hangers, strapped an old drab green army bag on the back and sleep roll on the front and him and several others took off for Florida, rode over to texas and did a big loop back home, it was like a two week ride..I wanted to go with him something awefull bad but i was 11 (47 now, do the math) and he didnt feel it was a good idea..so i stayed home...lol, he still has that bike, under the back deck in a shed covered with a tarp, told me to come pick it up, he dont ride no more.

I thought 60's-70's at 1st,, then saw the vib-rubs on the side of the roads, then as said above, the newer cars...
mostly peanut tanks, I remember those are great on trips...yea, for bout 80-90 miles,,,

did bring back mem's of back in the day, when our group of 15 would leave in the morning and we all make it back,,, but 2 or 3 was in the back of a truck.....Yep,,, good ole days...

Here's a picture of my first 70xlch harley I built up in 1972, was 22 when I did that one ,,, think I might have rode with these boys in the vid...
