I have the V&H true duals on my Heritage and not real happy with them. I'm thinking about going with the Samsons with the 4"X30" mufflers. My V&H sound OK but not great, plus I like the look of the longer and bigger diameter mufflers.I hope they sound as good as you say. The problem with this stuff is that you can't make an educated decision when buying this stuff. There's no where to go to look and listen to these exhaust systems before you buy. Then once you buy it and install it, it's yours. The look you can get from a catalog, but the sound is a different story. Even the people who put sound clips on their ads doesn't help much. They sound different in person. Oh well, it's only money I guess.
I would go with the V&H They are a better quality. I have had 2 sets of new sampsons crack at the mount and the flanges where they bolt up. Both sets of pipe were replaced under warrenty. I do like the sound of the sampsons. I ended up cutting,welding and wraping a set of of the sampson for my custom.

V&H if you want them to last. Quality Control at Samson has gone south. Wouldn't give them a dime. Hit the search button for Samson and read some of the post over the last year with the problems folks have had.
