I'm not new to the forum so I'll post this here. I finally bought a Harley. I got an 08 Red hot sunglow streetglide! It gets delivered a week from this tuesday. I've waited 5 years to get one. This is going to be the longest week and a half of my life. When i get it I'll post pics.
Man, I couldn't imaging having to wait a whole week just to pick up my new bike. I am a gotta have it now type guy. I thought I was going to die when I had to wait overnight to get my StreetGlide. That was the longest wait ever!! Congrats man, you are going to fu*kin' love it.
Izzy, tyou're right it is the Crimson Red Sunglow. I keep getting the two mixed up. I do hate waiting. I bought it from someone in San Diego. My original plan was to fly down and ride it back. But work is finally picking up alittle, so I figured it was better to work and ship it. It takes longer but when there's work I have to take it.
Thanks on all the congrats. I rode my current bike (2000 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500)about 150 miles yesterday and all I could think about was how is the new one going to brake, turn, feel, look...............and so on. Funny how we turn into little kids when we get a new harley. I'm jacked up that's all I can say!!!!

Sleepless, that's the beauty of it. The bike has $6,000 worth of upgrades already on it. Rinehardts, grips, stage 1 air cleaner, everything on the bars, highway pegs, fooy pegs, windshield trim. The guy did just about everything I wanted to do.

Patience, Grasshopper!
I bought my Limited on Jan 4 and couldn't ride it until a week ago. Like the guy said: surf the forums and learn as much as you can about your new bike. You already learned about the color; these folks are great about teaching from their own experiences. I learned a lot in those 3 months.
Only a few more sleeps.
Oh yeah and if you can get off of it long enough, post some pics!
