has anyone had any experience with color changing paint? I am looking at getting my bike painted and would like at changing paint from dark blue to dark red. I found this site http://www.duplicolor.com/products/mirage.html along with a few others, but I dont see anything that really captures the colors I am looking for. Any suggestions? Which do you guys like better?

You will need to go to your local auto paint supply store to check out the color samples and the price. If I remember correctly, your looking at something crazy like $300.00 an OUNCE for the base coat.
House of color. $500.00 a quart listed there. thats base coat only, you still need reducer, clear and activator, in addition to prime/sealing the area with a solid base color before application. 3 coats with 75% overlap. If your doing a fairing bike, you may need 2 quarts.
Prices have gone down since I have been in the bodyshop
+1 with meepers. Prices may vary depending on the greed of the retailer. LMAO
Whether you live in Cali or not, check out "Coast Airbrush". Get all my airbrush supplies there. They are the most reasonable I know of and I "think" they may price match. Key word being "think".
