Default Speedometer accuracy

Is the speedometer very accurate on Harleys? I have not got a gps mount yet for my 07 Ultra so I can swap it from my road bike. The speedometer is way off on it from actual speed. I think all Hondas are that way. How about Harleys?

my '02 is dead on under 60 mph verified by radar. But at around 75 indicated, it is actually 72 by way of stopwatch, or about 4% off. The odometer is generally right on the money.

My 84 Goldwing was off by 5mph over 30, but that was then.

my hand held GPS is different from speedometer havent checked any other way going this weekend to Atlanta know where there is a mile marker that is dead on.
60 mph for 1 minute should get me from one to the other.

I've seen them vary from 3-7 mph, both too fast & too slow. S&S makes a calibration box to cure the issue.

She Who Must be Obeyed has an '01 Toyota Camry, at 65 mph my speedometer is exactly even with hers. Not real scientific, but close enough for govt. work and horseshoes.
